Description
The Muncie A20-A1008-HX5BS or A20A1008HX5BS is a medium-duty clutch shift power take-off engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The A20 Series mounts on a 10-bolt transmission opening and features a shift cover with 360-degree rotation, giving installers flexibility in routing shift controls. A rotatable pump flange and increased clearance around the unit simplify installation in tight bays. Tapered roller bearings support the output shaft for extended service life, and an increased-diameter output shaft adds durability under sustained load. The gear set is optimized to minimize operating noise, and the design uses a single intermittent/continuous torque rating across the range.
