Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZQDAX-S5XK or 489ZQDAXS5XK, is an 8-bolt PTO designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key accepts a wide range of output configurations. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this unit.
