Description
The Chelsea 489XSAHX-W6XD or 489XSAHXW6XD is a 489 Series power take-off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with key) delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capacity. Internal parts are shared with the Chelsea 442 Series, making service straightforward.
