Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSAHX-W5GH or 489XSAHXW5GH, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. Its one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on some competing designs, reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power output reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key.
