Description
The Chelsea 489XRITX-A3RA or 489XRITXA3RA is a 489 Series power take-off assembly built around a one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and compatible manual transmissions. The series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), and shaft power output reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation, with an electric-over-air shift option also available within the series.
