Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GLAHX-A3XY or 489GLAHXA3XY, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and other compatible manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on many PTO installations, which reduces both mounting time and potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with key) is driven through tapered bearings for greater load capacity than needle-bearing designs. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft; check Chelsea application pages for the exact rating for this configuration.
