Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GCAHX-A5GQ or 489GCAHXA5GQ, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built on an 8-bolt mounting pattern that bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a common leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with keyway. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with output power in the 46-55 HP range. Compatible with Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions fitted with an 8-bolt PTO aperture. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
