Description
The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XKDAX-15RK or 282XKDAX15RK, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and accepts both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft uses a 5/16″ key. Intermittent torque capacity spans 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm), with continuous torque rated at 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) per application page confirmation. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and others. Common applications include aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery.
