Description
The Chelsea 281GPFJP-G8RK or 281GPFJPG8RK is a 281 Series Power Take-Off designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used on Allison transmissions. It uses hydraulic (PowerShift) engagement for hot-shift operation, making it suited for continuous-duty cycles in refuse, fire and rescue, pumper cleaner, and truck crane applications. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed output demands. A ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between housing and bearing cap, and an 80% thicker clutch-pack steel disc design all address vibrational stress from modern engine profiles.
