Description
The Chelsea 281GMFJP-B3RF or 281GMFJPB3RF is a 281 Series hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) Power Take-Off built for 10-bolt automatic transmissions, including Allison applications. This series carries a continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft and supports nine speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. Output options across the 281 Series include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 pump flange, and driveline configurations. A ductile iron bearing cap delivers 117% greater strength over gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibrational stress. The clutch pack uses steel discs that are 80% thicker than the predecessor 280 Series design. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) and SmartStart are available to protect downstream equipment.
