Description
The Chelsea 281GCFJP-D5RS or 281GCFJPD5RS is a hydraulically shifted, hot-shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 281 Series, designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt mounting aperture — including Allison and Caterpillar units. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, featuring a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, and an enhanced clutch pack with 80% thicker steel discs to resist premature tooth wear. Nine available speed ratios cover both low and high-speed applications. The series supports driveline and SAE B/C pump flange outputs and is rated for continuous operation.
