Description
The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GBKVW-B5RK or 281GBKVWB5RK, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison transmissions. This series delivers a continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft (529 Nm) and offers nine speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. It mounts with a 10-bolt configuration and supports multiple output types including SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 pump flange, and driveline outputs. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, featuring a ductile iron bearing cap that is 117% stronger than gray iron, an enhanced clutch pack with 80% thicker steel discs, and an o-ring sealing configuration to improve clamp load and resist vibrational effects.
