Description
The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GCFJW-B3RY or 281GCFJWB3RY, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO engineered for 10-bolt aperture automatic transmissions, including Allison applications. It is an evolution of the 280 Series, with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% thicker steel disc clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. Output options span SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 and DIN flange types, and driveline configurations. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges, and the wet spline lubrication option delivers 7 to 10 times greater shaft life. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) protects driven equipment.
